What is the Home and Electronics salary sacrifice scheme?
A Home and Electronics salary sacrifice scheme allows employees to access a wide range of items while spreading the cost over a fixed period. When offered by an organisation, the scheme allows employees to make payment reductions from their gross salary or deductions from their net salary. This helps employees to better manage their finances without having to resort to credit cards or costly payday loans.

A salary sacrifice scheme helps add value to an organisation's wider benefits package by enabling their employees to access a broad range of items that are part of the scheme. For an employee, the flexibility to purchase such a wide variety of products through salary reductions is invaluable.
How does a salary sacrifice scheme work?
A salary sacrifice scheme will take the full price of an item and divide the cost into either 12 or 24 monthly instalments, paid for through the employee’s gross or net salary. The item will be dispatched from the supplier once the employer has authorised the purchase, and the order should be with you within 7 working days.
Can a salary sacrifice scheme be used to purchase a car?
Cars are also included in the wide range of items that can be purchased using salary sacrifice. Through the Vivup Car Benefit, employees can choose from a range of eco-friendly cars that can be paid for in monthly instalments across a fixed term via Payroll Pay®.
How much salary can an employee use on a salary sacrifice scheme?
An employee can use as much of their gross or net salary on a salary sacrifice scheme as they choose, providing it doesn't take them below the national living wage threshold for their specific age bracket organisations may set a maximum limit for use by employees.
