Our ongoing improvements to accessibility

The Vivup platform is partially compliant and we are currently addressing items identified to achieve 2.2 AA standards as a matter of high priority.

We have an accessibility working group that explores options to improve accessibility, including:

• Identified the areas of our website which do not meet the criteria and are working on solutions to improve these areas
• Engaging with third-party providers to ensure the platforms we use are accessible
• Training everyone that publishes to the web in creating accessible content
• Providing guidance to services on creating accessible multimedia content

Some of our client administration pages are using an older Java Script library than our user-facing site. This means that occasionally there will be areas which do not comply to fully with WCAG criteria. However, we have identified the areas in question and are working to migrate these pages to the updated Java Script library soon.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 19th February 2024

This website was last tested during Quarter 1 2024. We undertake scanning on a quarterly basis.

The testing was carried out on the ‘vivup.co.uk’, ‘highfivereward’ & ‘workandlifepartners’ domains.

Testing was completed against all criteria and categories of WCAG 2.2AA.

Testing was carried out against all pages and pop ups.

The range of pages tested covered all types of function in use including images, maps, input controls, pdf documents, forms and video.

The testing was carried out by our web development team supported by our testing team and technical support team. The experience of these teams covers web development, UI design, assistive methods, validation, and testing, WCAG 2.2AA techniques and web accessibility across device.

The testing was carried out using the following methods:

• We scan / test the portals using the Deque axe DevTools axe-core
• Automated tools (WAVE)
• manual walkthroughs, including user navigation and access components via the keyboard
• subject testing and utilisation of screen readers (NVDA for website, voiceover for iOS, and talkback for android)
